Convicted of the 1953 beating murder of his stepfather, Charles Abbott (or Abbitt). Moss had a history of impulsive, alcohol-related crimes. His case went to the U.S. Supreme Court multiple times. He was electrocuted at the Kentucky State Penitentiary in Eddyville on March 2, 1962.
