Convicted of the murders of Louisa Nesbitt (age 69) and Alma Nesbitt (age 31) near Parkdale/Hood River in a homestead dispute. He was the last person legally hanged outside the Oregon State Penitentiary โ executed publicly in The Dalles in July 1905.
